I’ve built a career specialising in residential youth work but it wasn’t always like that. As a child in care I came through relatively unscathed. I went into the business world believing the care system was behind me forever. Achieving top ten status across the UK by industry taught me a lot about people, little did I know how useful those skills would prove to be in the world I later found myself in.

A family bereavement left me questioning what would really satisfy me in my career. The answer to that question was to go back, to start at the bottom and work with young people. That was decades ago and I don’t have a moments regret. Since then I’ve been blessed to run revolutionary projects, become a skilled talk therapist, and to pass my knowledge and experience on to others. I’ve authored several fiction and non fiction books. I specialise and train in NLP, Clinical Hypnosis and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
